From the "request stuff MEME" thingy of last week, here are the first half of things requested. The ones for alba17, choccy_grl and nanfreak should be following this week! Each of these are small enough to fit in a comment box (485 - 690 words) and I would rate them all as PG. Hah hah Ifan's Thumbs Up Falafel. Love these although I'm not sure I really understand the last one. Excellent use of second person though.

You're not the only one! The narrator of the last one is dead!Steven. That concept of heaven is based on the heaven in "The Lovely Bones" -- I haven't read it in awhile, but I believe there were lots of kids all living in a loose community in that corner of heaven, w/ one or two older people somewhat in charge of things. Anyhow, I used that idea to construct this heaven, and I wanted to try it second person. Steven is connected to Ianto w/out really knowing him, but they have Jack in common. I didn't really think that their personal names were all that important in heaven, so it lent itself to second person.

Oh thankyou for explaining, I get it now. I just felt like such a thicko when I read other people's comments and clearly they understood it. I didn't even think it was Steven! That's how thick I was being, and I thought the man was Jack. Oh dear. It all makes sense now.

Adding my vote for 'damn nice' on the last one. It's sneaky and I like the edge of 'oh OH OH!!!' that you kind of get when you realize what it's about. Really enjoyed that

Yay!!! So glad you liked it!

I don't think I will be using second person extensively in the future, but it was nice to give it a whirl!
