Goodness Blue! Such adventures! It sure would be sweet if you could find a place with a wee back yard for your pupster, wouldn't it? ;)

Absolutely sending power thoughts to your mom and dad.

Also? Spartacus is rather rampant with the explicits isn't it? I watched one episode. No big feelings either way about it, but there is so much to watch that I'm inclined to watch other things at the moment.

A house would be AWESOME. Depends on the price. And thanks for your thoughts!

Spartacus was... I continued watching b/c I wanted to get to the Agron/Nasir. And then I started to like some of the other characters. I did skip over the sex and blood, mainly. Which is of course why the show keeps getting made and is pretty integral to it, but... check out my icon!

Thank you, bb!!! Any new place will have to have space for you to visit, of course.

Woo hoo! When will you be available? I'm here next week and could do dinner in the evening, or if you have time on weekend, I'll have more flexibility.

I take it you mean the new season of Spartacus? I wish I had Starz...

I was really sucked into the first season. Sure, there's lots of sex and violence, but it was actually a brilliant show. The guy who played Spartacus (you know, he died last year - had some kind of nasty cancer) he was SO GOOD. Just brought such depth and humanity to his performance. I also think the show illustrated well the bleakness of slavery, and how the Roman Empire really was cruel and awful.

I hope the new actor is good. He has a very high standard to meet.

Yes, I mean the new season. I didn't want to go back and watch the old season b/c I knew it would depress me, knowing that the actor had died. This Spartacus makes lots of stirring speeches and is easy on the eyes, so on paper at least they're probably similar. My favorites are some of the side characters, but I usually like sidekicks and such more than the main characters. I've heard the season is very different, since everyone's circumstances changed, but there's still blood, sex and brotherhood, not to mention the rather stilted dialogue (a conscious choice in trying to make the historical aspect ring true, of course, but it took me a bit to get used to and appreciate it).
