I love your food posts. Also, pie! I have never met a pie I didn't love. I would take pie over chocolate or cake any day.

Ooh, that's a nice IKEA table. Some day when we get to have our own house I'll buy something like that for a laundry-folding table.

It's the Year of the Dragon! Health, wealth, and prosperity.

I love making food posts! B/c that means I just ate the food. Mmmmmm... pie...

I heard a radio piece on the Year of the Dragon, and they were interviewing people in Hong Kong who were desperate to have a baby b/c Dragon babies are good luck. And it's putting a strain on the health care resources, which is not so lucky.

I am usually on Team Cheesecake, but those pies are making me drool.

That really is the handsomest kitty ever, and he clearly knows it.

I did try a cheesecake recipe from the book, too, but it did not turn out that swell -- it used a banana to thicken it, and it tasted way too banana-y. I hate bananas!

OH those pies sound so yummy, I love peach pie :D And the other two sound DIVINE :D

HA HA IKEA - try putting something together when the instructions are just pictures and some German you don't understand LOL. But yes, Ikea, so much fun <333 Looks good tho!

And YUM Chinese New Year - food looks DELISH :D

Glad you had fun!!!

The IKEA instructions were just drawings, too. The first page was all of 'things you should not do' and it included a sad person b/c they were putting the furniture together alone, and then in the 'things you should do' column, it showed two people working together, all happy. LOL.

I love the IKEA porn. Very nice! They're like little writing prompts. Is there an IKEA fandom?
