Elyan, the brother who has only be acknowledged as such once in the whole of S4! lol! I seriously wonder whether the writers remember they're related *head-desk* though I did like the little look they gave each other in the council chamber, seems Elyan has chosen his "new" friends over his sister...
I knooow! I know Elyan is only the plot convenient brother, but I'm sure having him there would be plot convenient? Even just a scene showing Elyan's choice - maybe have him apologise to Arthur for her 'betrayal', SOMETHING.
Also I'm assuming Morgana totally had her way with Lancelot before packing him off to Camelot.
She totally did. Did you SEE how she was eying him up?!
There was startlingly little comfort there, which left me feeling a bit bereft. I've grown to expect and really enjoy the friendship between them both this series, and I missed it even more here.
TBH Arthur is kinda right when it comes to Merlin and women. The show pretty much makes it canon that Merlin doesn't have a lot of experience with them and that Arthur, by being a prince, has in the past (the ones we see have mostly been enchantments). And Arthur does comfort better than Merlin does. The only reason Arthur can't comfort Merlin when he's upset is because he never really knows what's wrong (because it usually applies to magic).

And Arthur does comfort better than Merlin does. This is true. I just got a very weird feeling from the show, I think.
The acting from the failed triangle was brilliant, but there was something off that I can't put my finger on, if that makes sense?
