Does anyone remember when....

Back-to-school shopping didn't require going up and down five diff product aisles all over a huge store like Super Wal-Mart, with a piece of paper in your hand that looked like instructions instead of a list of supplies?Just wondering. Heh ( Read more... )

I'm glad you got all the shopping done, well, except for three things. :)

I like school supply shopping. I know, I'm weird like that. LOL.
Unless Ginny wants to play good mommy again, I may do hers next week.

Have fun swimming! I'm so jealous!

Normally, I can't stand b-t-s shopping, but this time was fun since we were the only ones in those aisles. I think I just need to quit leaving it to the last minute, when it's always crowded. I have to admit that I love looking at the supplies (diff themes and all) and today, I bought myself a three-ring binder with the Rolling Stones logo on it, and two R.S. folders to go with it .....to put my own schoolwork in. :-D

YAY! It's good to think about yourself! The last days are always the hardest at the store. Ugh!

Have a good day!

Erggh...I just went Back to School shopping ....to the big "W"...hey the crayons are on sale for $.20!!! I still have to buy some more stuff like paper towels and wipes (why do they need wipes in 2nd grade????).

Thankfully it wasn't too bad but next month will be the UNIFORM clothing that I have to buy!!! Gino goes to public school in the suburbs but they adopted a uniform code back in 2004....which is cool with the kids. But still...they outwear all those clothes by mid year and then no one has the uniform pants or shirts!!!

Yeah, I did a double-take at the list because mine said they needed a roll of paper towels AND a box of Wet Ones (3rd grade). I know kids are messy, but damn!

I don't remember Marcus needing wipes in the 2nd grade ... some of the items they have you get just don't make any sense sometimes.

I know! I was almost tempted to look for a "My First Shavers" kit for him!

I usually hate it, but today wasn't bad since there were maybe 10 shoppers in the whole store this morning....and none of them (besides me and the boys) were in the school aisles. :-D

We did ....stayed out there for an hour and a half! I am worn out, but hopefully, the boys will take a long nap later. ;-)

Lol, they sell those? that's too rich.

i imagine it wasn't so full cause you're sorta early(about a month ahead), and how many people are really awake and going to the Mart at 7:00 am
