So yeah I read on Yahoo that Sadam is dead. I dont really know how to feel. Everyone seems to be happy about it, but I think I dont fell that way. With Sadam gone, the people in Iraq are going to rally. I have heard every defense that the people are happy that he is gone and he was a bad man, but we as Americans are influenced byt the notion that

If you were watching it since last night like I was, they were airing non-stop Saddam news: the final hours leading up to the execution and when/after it was carried out. They even showed the video of him getting the rope tied around his neck and his body laying in the body bag afterwards with his neck broken.

But I'm glad it was the Iraqis who put him to death and not the Americans. I don't think that it would have been a very smart thing to do if the Americans were in charge of his execution. We have to stop sticking our noses in foreign affairs, that's how OUR people get killed.

I also find it ironic if we had executed the same man whom we helped put into power in the first place.
