i didn't pass. the last 4 kanji i talked about before leaving my study materials in the car (and how i'd remember them)... appeared in the test... and i didn't remember them. =p minor detail. (and i'm pretty sure the word for an empty can of soda is 'kara' not 'aki'... i think. i'm gonna rely on maaya sakamoto's "empty the pocket" song. =p

nah, if you know what you're doing it isn't that bad.... i think. a copy of the past exams is available for sale.. and some people have it for download (i just don't know where ^^; ) so you can see what it's like. :)

i knew i was in over my head taking lvl2... it's been about 4 years since i last took japanese; and i really haven't studied since. ^^; a lot of what i took with me was about a month's worth of random studying... along with what i already know. XD;;

Acck!! Level 2. ><;; You know, Level 2 is 'ideally' easier this year.

(When the year is odd, the even-level tests are 'easier', and the same for even years, odd-level tests are 'easier'. In my experience, it doesn't matter. They were hard. That's it.)

Level 2 means watching NHK news and getting it. I don't get it yet so I'm far from level 2. I admire your courage for taking it. :3 And at least you managed to do something on your first JLPT. Unlike mine, I was staring at a piece of paper. XD

i think i worried too much about the news-worthy stuff when i was studying.. they barely even appeared on the test.. (darn you, "lava" and "temperate zone" and "president of the parliament") have to focus on work-related stuff next time. _-_;;

and i tried to make sure that i would at least "fail gracefully"... XD;; i don't know if it's courage or lack of sense, though... lol. and i'm pretty sure you can watch nhk news and get it, khursten. :D
