Like you I was disappointed by the response of leading feminists to the Hope Solo incident. What better way to assert the equality of women than to profess that women can be the perpetrators of domestic violence, and not just the victims.

I'm for everyone's liberation and empowerment--that's why I identify myself as a humanist.

(But I'm really a lionist, to tell the truth.)

I'm just disappointed that someone with one of the coolest names I've ever heard (allegedly) abuses unathletic unhinged aspiring thespians.

Whoa! "fat" and "overweight" is way totally redundant. I sure hope someone has pointed that out to Hope...because it just seems like she'd care...so much.

I've always kind of thought athletes were crazy though...all that running (running...? WTF?), jumping, tossing, ... ;-P

I do think "...a versatile actor needed to have an “athletic state of mind.”" is a silly thing to say. Think it, dumdum, don't say it!

I do like the idea of an athletic state of mind--it goes with my mental state of body. * lion yawn, lip smack, sigh *
