SPOILER ALERT!! You've been warned! Ratings pretty much stay PG, MAYBE PG-13 if you squint.
I had fun, and some might not fit perfectly, but it was still fun. :D I hope you like them!
Song 1: Bring Me to Life - Evanescence
Sam sat down on the ledge, looking out over the forest. The hill the autobots preferred to occupy when out of the city was large and could hold them all. Behind him, they were speaking in small groups. In the last two years, others had arrived. It was starting to get crowded. While he loved the adventure, he was starting to get tired of some of it. He wanted to be a regular teenager. He just wanted to graduate and go to college. He still had a few months to do that.
The crunch of rocks alerted him to a prescence and he didn't have to turn to know who was behind him. Bumblebee sat down next to him, his gears whirring softly. Sam finally smiled up at him. He wanted to be a regular teenager, but he'd alway have Bee with him. Always. Every since the Autobots had come to Earth, he'd felt so alive. His life had changed. And Bee was part of that.
He shifted closer, crowding into his cool metal side to avoid the breeze that swept over the ledge.
Song 2: Womanizer - Britney Spears
He was far from a womanizer. No, he was a one woman kind of guy, that's what he'd said. Bee had heard him with his own processors. But just what the hell was he doing all over that other car?
Bumblebee's engine revved loudly to get Sam's attention. Sam was leaning into the red mustang, his top half not visible until he pulled out and looked back. "What's up, Bee?"
"Womanizer woman-womanizer you're a womanizer oh, you're a womanizer, baby." Bee's radio played. From the other side of the compound, the twins laughed.
"Hey, ain't that right? You know it's right!"
Mikaela leaned out of the other side of the car, smiling. "I think he's jealous, Sam."
"Jealous? Of what?"
"You're giving the mustang more attention than him."
"What? Bee!" Sam pulled away from the car and chased Bee as he spun his tires and sulked over to the other side of the large compound.
Song 3: Everytime We Touch - Cascada
It was getting impossible to sleep. Sam lay back in the bed in his dormroom and stared up at ceiling. Parked just outside - with special permission from the Dean - was Bumblebee. Even though everything was over and the Fallen was gone, he still had brief flashes in his mind of a history he couldn't possibly know. But whenever Bee was around, those thoughts disappeared and were replaced with images of the battles they'd been through together, the drives, the fun...
Sam shivered and shifted onto his side, glancing out the window. Bee looked so lonely sitting out there. He wondered if he should join him. "Pathetic," he mumbled to himself. "I can only sleep if I'm in my car..." He closed his eyes, and could almost feel the smooth leather on his skin, and the gentle purr of the engine.
Song 4: Shattered Glass - Britney Spears
She'd done it. She actually did it this time, and despite thinking it would hurt, Sam felt... nothing. They'd fought about it, but when she spoke the words, he felt just relief. When he walked out of the garage, Bumblebee sat there, waiting for him, engine revving. Sam got in and they sped off down the street. The leather was soothing and he closed his eyes, confident Bee would keep him safe. This, now this, felt right.
Mikaela watched from the shadow of the garage as they took off and shook her head. She turned back into the bay and stepped over the glass that lay shattered on the ground from the cup she'd dropped earlier while they fought.
Song 5: Your Eyes Don't Lie - David Archuleta
"You're not really in love with me, are you?" Mikaela said suddenly. It was months after the last battle, the Decepticons still missing. Sam sipped his soda and looked towards his Camaro, rather than at his girlfriend. "I figured as much." She said, sighing, and stood to leave. "I'll see you around, Sam."
Later that night, Sam sat talking to Optimus. He was frowning. "How did she know?"
"With humans, it is easy to tell. Your eyes do not lie, Sam. They reveal the truth, no matter what the words say."
