this is so going on my delicious.
I love that you worked in the 'what am I supposed to do?' with John's death instead of Sam's, and this really works after 5.14. It tied up a lot of loose ends for me, and fulfilled my need for an explanation of Dean's angst, and it's also pretty heartbreaking. I teared up, not gonna lie.

I liked this quite a bit. I'm a full one Dean girl and an angst whore so this is right up my alley. Dean seems to be only slightly introspective so this rang true to me, just about right for how far he'd analyze his own life before shrugging off such thoughts and focusing on what's in front of him.

Nicely done!

Haha, quite- fellow angst whore here. I'm glad it wasn't too OOC, it's hard to square Dean's push-it-back attitude with an analysis of how he's feeling. Thank you for the comment!
