I love Gong Li's acting. I think the camera did injustice to her costume. It could have been more grandeur. Jay Chou did ok lah for the acting. It could have been way better but it was acceptable I guess.

As for the storyline line, I find that there are too many sub plots in the film and every character is screaming for the protagonist role. Everyone wants to scream his/her issue out loud.

But ok lah overall.

Acting for instances i wont say much as i seldom watch chinese films, but its really a grand production all the $$ spent in the costumes and loaction.
