I suspect that you are right in that of the three only Faramir truly looked forward to the Return of the King. This was one thing in which Boromir more truly resembled his father.

I love this dialogue-Faramir's awe in the story and excitement in meeting the king really shines through . And i love the topic that you chose because it does sound like something that should be discussed over the course of their youth.

I wanted to look at that incident as told in RotK in which Denethor might have said what he did about a thousand years not being enough to make a Steward a King, not in Gondor. Am so glad you so appreciated it!
