For Antane, Armariel, and Fiondil for the inspiration each gave to this tale, and to Lindelea, Febobe, Virtuella, Harrowcat, Linda Hoyland, and Dreamflower for their support at what has been a bad time for me.

I loved the idea of the eyes on the boats, your emphasis on Aragorn as priest/king and the idea Boromir would lead the army in the final battle. A lovely story and I am honoured by the dedication.

I'm so glad you liked it, Linda, and thanks so very much for your support through what was a terrible time for me, between the new situation with my health and the many computer glitches I've experienced in the last month. And it was my pleasure! Who better to lead the armies of the Men of the West in the end then Boromir? Again, many grateful thanks for everything!

Sweetie, you are, as ever a master of the written word, and fic is an absolute art the way you write it. Thank you. I feel so honored.

Love,
Febobe

I apologize for how long it has taken me to respond to your comments. Just after I posted this my laptop, which had suddenly begun responding sluggishly to about everything, died, and I've had to borrow a computer to get up and running--if one can call it that, considering how many problems THIS computer has!

I am ever so grateful for the support you've shown me. I'm getting by, but it's still not always easy, I find. Am so very glad you like this one! I love thinking that Boromir got his chance to lead in the Last Battle! And know that you and yours are frequently in my prayers. Thanks for including me in yours!

Thanks so very much for the comments. I've always felt there had to be something special in the crafting of the ships that sail between the Hither-lands and Aman that helped them find the Straight Path, you see, and I first imagined this scenario several years ago while writing the last chapters of "Stirring Rings." They're not posted as yet, as I'm still working on the middle chapters.... Heh!
