Love this! Frodo, eager lad that he is, just wants to help. Of course, his intentions are the same as Bilbo's but Gaffer wouldn't see it that way.

I've always thought that Frodo should be allowed to help out around Bag End - not to take away the Gaffer's work, but just because it's the right thing to do.
