Portus Papers Submitted and DragonCon Inquiry

I just sent in three submissions to Portus 2008, and well before the midnight deadline! I decided against submitting any panels or roundtables, largely because I already have these papers written, for the most part, and would need more time to really pull together ideas (plus people, for a panel) for any non-paper presentations

I'm probably going to the thingie in Dallas, my father, brother and some sisters live in Arlington and thereabouts and it won't cost me an arm and a leg to go, free housing and food and transportation too! So hopefully I'll get to see you there B! Dragon-Con, pry not...

I'll be heading down to Atlanta for D*Con (3rd straight year). I tend to do a lot of costuming, hanging out with friends, and random panels (mostly costume, anime, and Star Wars tracks).

I've been flying AirTran quite a bit of late. They seem to have a better on-time record than US Air (*knock on wood*), and I've been pleased with their service in general.

Where are you staying?
