I know, right? I understand parents are proud, I even realize some of those posts are meant for grandparents and other close relatives, but at some point it gets to be a bit much. Especially when it turns to bragging.

STFU Parents is a good antidote. (Although sometimes it goes the other way and gets a bit... mean about anyone who even mentions having kids, especially on the Facebook page, the blog itself is generally good about avoiding that.) When I found it I was like, "it's not just me?!"

No one else is inundating the Internet with as many pictures and posts about their offspring. No one. I don't know if having another kid would give her some perspective or if the kid pictures and posts would increase exponentially. I'm a little afraid to find out. I think I'm on the verge of simply choosing not to see her posts on my feed, which makes me sad, but maybe then I'll also do less Facepalming when she shares Fox posts that are full of lies about the President.
