well, i took the practice swords out for a test run yesterday at megan's. within 15 minutes, the sword I was using had broken. The way it broke now makes me believe we were doing something disasterously wrong, because it broke from a blow to the flat of the blade. Megan wasn't doing any serious swinging and wasn't generating that kind of force,

in response to the images looking slapped on on your pages... maybe you could edit the images that it pulls up... perhaps make the edges irregularly shaped, and maybe blur the edges into blue as well... that might work...

Another approach would be to put in lines to make it look like a jigsaw puzzle, although tiles might work too, I'm not sure... Ok, so make the blue backround look a bit like a jigsaw puzzle with black lines and blue that has some appropriate shading, then fit the picture in on top of one of the puzzle pieces so that it looks like a natural part of the page...

um, well, i have no idea what you mean by the puzzle thing... but i did have another idea, so maybe that'll be up "for review" later today ;)
