Both work and my social life had to take a brief pause in order for me to overcome the chaos that is midterms. Mom let me take a break from working at the shop for a few days. It gave me extra time to go over my material,

That poli-sci exam was quite intense. Even I was a bit worried by it. The essay choices were a nightmare. It felt like the professor was out to get me or mislead us on what we were supposed to be studying. Luckily I covered the topics in a different class, but regardless... Ugh. Bloody annoying.

I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one who thought so and I'd have to agree with you on that bit about the essay choices. I usually do quite good on the essay portion of exams, but those topics were a bit of a surprise. At times, it felt like I was just jotting down nonsense. Boy, am I glad that I put in those extra study hours!

So, I'm assuming that we are in the same class or at least have the same professor. What is your name?

We just have the same professor. I'm in the first session at 7am.

I think I went off topic and put in too many anecdotal moments into my essays. I need to learn to keep my own experiences and conversations with some of the people we discuss in class out of my essays.
