First Tutorial ever + a PSD of a wallpaper

This is a tutorial for some of the Disney icons, from this batch, and it's also my first. And because I suck at explaining things feel free to ask me if something is unclear :]
+ I added a PSD of a wallpaper from the same batch ;D

which program do you use than? maybe we could work something out :D

I use GIMP 2.4; no selective coloring.
It does just about everything PSP does, though.

Ahem ... you could duplicate the Channel Mixer layer and maybe add a new color balance layer - play with the numbers and I'm sure you'll get something similar.
Selective color isn't really important, it just made her hair a little bit more red & the sky blue :D
Everything will be very beautiful even, without selective color ;)
