the main obstacle for reasonable people trying to find faith is that most of the practicioners of every organized faith make them all so unappealing. for me, when it's all stripped down and the rules and trinkets and funny hats are gone, there's a simple message and feeling leftover. so i just read a lot. and think a lot. when i watch a squirrel bury a nut, i feel like there's something more. between atoms or whatever. tying everything together.

now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for my peace pipe, sun salute and chanting. baaaahahaha.

you should read "the prophet" by kahlil gibran. you reeeeeally should.
