Which part in specific? The science part, or the setting yourself up for success part? I'll write whichever one you'd like better next. :)

Both! Your writing about parrots is always enjoyable (not that your weird stretchy cats aren't, but. You know what I mean). "Setting up the environment for success" might be more relevant to my near-ish future, though, since I'd really love if Firefly and The New Guy could be friends. Someday. After loads of quarantine, vet visits, and remedial Giant Scary Ape Monsters: Learning To Love Them training, of course.

Also, I apparently can't tumblr, but in reference to the neutering topic, you (and others) might want to look into ovary sparing spays. All the hormones, none of the pyometra. :)
