Zarla cameo Pt 1
The tank is getting really angry, but Alexis jumps onto his back, stabbing him with his tail. The tank is wailing back and forth with his arm, while trying to stay balanced with his other. He swats on wall, and then near the modern arts part of the museum, then at the hunter, who was hiding behind a desk. Bits and chunks are falling off.
“The noises are attracting a horde, guys!” David exclaimed.
Sure enough a horde of at least 200 common infected of construction workers, attendants, businessmen, and civilians swarm in, creating more chaos. The tank is just slamming them all to the sides, making more rubble fall, as well as his common hits to it.
David, fighting the horde coming out of the modern arts wing, is too busy to notice that his entrance way is blocked off. The more the tank wails the more he flails around, the more he hits the walls. The more he hits the walls, the more common infected come. The more common infected come, will make projectiles for the tank, and more distractions for the group.
Finally the tank stops moving, but the horde keeps coming. One at a time the shot, stab, smash, and slash. The horde starts to die down, leaving masses of bodies everywhere.
“Alright guys, we just …” David exclaims before he realizes that he has been blocked off from his group. “Aw shit… HEY GUYS!” He screams as loud as he can. “Can you HEAR ME?!” David starts to hear some muffled voices, presumably his comrades.
He can barely here them but he could understand the words, “Go” and “Round”. David thinks for three seconds before decided that they wanted him to go around. In case that he was wrong, he left a note with blood on the wall saying that we went around.
He made his way to the construction zone, clearing the way out with his axe. The gunfire from before is much louder now. He decided that it would be smart to find out where there location is. He tried his hunter echo location. It bounced back through the walls but the gunfire hurt his ears too much.
The only other alternative to find their location fast is to climb up one of the support beams. One hand at a time, he got up the middle section beam. If they didn’t have an extremely good sniper he would be safe…. BAM! Too bad ... They did. One shot, all it took to bring him back down. He didn’t get a good location on them falling, but he did know one thing, they were close.
David hit a small bag of feathers and the corpse of an unpopped boomer. Luckily, it was deflated of all boomer bile, so he didn’t go off and alert the horde.
He laid against the wall gripping the bullet hole at his left shoulder. The pain was intense, and the group who shot him was nearing him, but he had pain pills. He decided that a better idea was to wait for them to be in sight before he takes some of the pain pills he had.
The sharp blades of grass and wind were blowing through. Clouds started rolling in with his anticipation. It looked like it was going to rain down on him. Rustling grass was about twenty feet away, behind a wall.
David waiting with him trying to clot the wound with his hand, and pain pills in the other. Finally he sees one of their legs. It looks like grey cameo jeans and a sneaker, with a hint of a machete. They person steps forward and looks at him funny. It’s a girl in a green hoodie, with cat ears. She is blood stained, but looks like very fine, so it’s not her blood.
He takes his pain pills and starts to black out. Things go fuzzy, sound is deafened, and the pain of his shoulder is going away.
He could barely hear the words of the girl screaming “Nice job Smoker, you shot a guy!”
There David goes down, still clenching his shoulder.
