Ok, I get a lot of questions about how I made the Helena dress. I also see a bunch of posts by people looking for reference pictures and what-not. This is my handy-dandy q&a to help anyone out with it. Feel free to ask questions. I'm more than willing to help out as much as I can. I was watching that clip yesterday and I love the dress, I'm in the process of designing my own formal dress atm for a school project.
Do you have any other photos of your dress?

I'm the chick who make those FOB pins and posted them to falloutboylove. I was going to make a dozen or so sets and give them away, but I bogart the raw materials from work and there isn't enough for me to do that... and it looks like we won't be ordering any more until, like, October. Bummer... for everyone else! I have two complete sets (the ten in the post, plus two new ones), one already went to a friend of mine, but the other is available. I liked your post and then I checked out your journal and saw your kick ass 'Helena' dress and I said "yep, she's the one!"

ps: out of curiosity, 'cause I didnt see any com's we have in comon, how did you find me? I keep runing across people who link to this every now and again, but I have to find them, no one just tells me. Which is sad, becuase it makes my day to realize that someone finds this helpful.

i clicked on my interest: "helena dress" and found you hehe.

mine is NO WHERE near as good as yours. considering i dont know how to sew, and i bought a halloween costume online and just altered it to make it look more like the dress. it was a last minute thing for fun, so its extremely ghetto. lol.

and i hope it made your day, because i found it helpful! your screenshots are so clear! whenever i try to take them on windows media player, it fuzzes them up. probably because my version of the making of and the actual helena video were fuzzy to begin with.
