Whoa. Families like that are the reason I don't think I'd do good in restaurants or retail stores. I blow up so easily and I usually stay mad once I get even the slightest bit mad.
Our high school marching band would go to Village Inn almost every Friday night after football games -- and guess who never payed a tip. Over half of them were either too lazy or just stupid. My brother and I always left the biggest tips because when we left (we were usually last, trying to clean up the table just a bit so we didn't look like we had come in and hung out with some DE-evolved humans) the entire section where we had been seated looked like a hurricane of food had come through. Plus our waitress was usually the same lady, very old and very nice. She put up with more than she should have had to.
thats nice of you. I dont think alot of people realize that once you leave that huge mess someone has to clean it up. And that waitresses live off their tips they make, they only get like $2 an hour.
