Really, really hate seeing my daughter and not being able to be with her. Not that I'd wish for her to be in a place like this, but still...

At the very least, it sounds like Promise isn't alone. [Which is cold, cold comfort, he knows. It doesn't exactly address what Rick's feeling, either, but it's the best he's got. He won't even go into the 'if' aspect of whether she's home or not.]

I have been giving the Tree hugs lately to try to cheer it up. Perhaps that it why it has been generous?

Uncle Book mentioned that the Tree was moody. A hug is a good way to get rid of a bad mood!
