[The writing is a little sloppy, but recognizable as Rick's neat hand still.]

Man, this mechanical arm is so stylin'. Makes it a bit hard to write, though. And this hat makes me look ready to go on safari and have adventures.

I think I will turn this into a short story. Edensphere Mechanical Safari.

I think you need a handlebar mustache for that look. Or sideburns. Whatever British guys wore on safari.

Yeah, one of those! It came with goggles, too... that I can't actually see out of.

I think there are goggles on this hat, but I'm not sure. There was a pipe. It was a cool pipe, but you know, those are hard to use when you don't have lips.

A PIPE! THAT is what I was missing.

... yeah, I'd imagine a pipe is kind of pointless without lips. No puffing on it and blowing out smoke rings.
