Ah~ I loved it! I did, and listening to the author read it was a treat. I loved the last 4 lines:
his ears' last echo
the cries of lost sea-birds
one drifting pink petal
catches the dying sunlight
That's just- Well, I don't know but I can see that. :D I love it. <3
