I apologize for my absence. Life is fine. I have been assigned a "new" post and have only recently returned from orientation. Larsa has ordered my return to Dalmasca, where I now act as his ambassador to Ashe's court. I was not happy at first, though it gets easier by the day

It takes a few days, but there is eventually a letter left, tucked in a door jamb. For this is the way things are done when a body is in a rush, and must be off.

Hopefully easier equates somewhat to “more pleasing”, though given the nature of politics and the like, I’ve reason to doubt that. May things at least continue on this track of easier.

Parenting is something of a bitch, isn’t it? We’ve our third a full month and a half early, which has lead to many things which may or may not be of interest. You’d be amazed at the bruises I’m currently sporting, i should think. They’re a particularly spectacular shade of puce. How old is this daughter of yours? Should she be of a certain age, I’m certain I could bring something over that might be of some help.

I’ve finals to administer, and a performance to put on, but after that, I’ll drop by. Sleep being something that I’m none too concerned about at current time.

A day or so later, a young man with short black hair and dressed in pretty scant leather clothing under a white and silver side-cape (who looks a mix of mightily perturbed, frightened, and awestruck) stumbles up to Miki's residence, hand-delivers another letter, and bumbles off again, trying to figure out the exact direction from which he came.

"A month and a half early and still fit to box? Not many fathers are so lucky. Pass on my congratulations to Flea for me, if you would.

She is two and spare right now, three in [November]." Damnable Nexus translators. "If you've anything to spare that might interest a girl that age it would be much appreciated; I'm running out of 'toys' around the office that aren't edged or weigh more than she does.
