You shouldn't think too much about ever meeting another you.

People have things to do in their own worlds. Besides if people are going missing that means there's a way out of some kind.

Time passes at different speeds in other worlds. Everyone could go back and no time at all might have passed.
Just because people go missing it doesn't mean they'll have a chance to cause chaos.

It's not creepy.

Or they're dead.

I guess so. It would be so strange, to go back, and have had no time pass at all. Would I even remember this place, I wonder...?

... great. That's a whole other tangent I don't want to go down.

You're a vampire. I think your version of creepy and mine are just a little different.

[Al laughs softly.]

That's what happens when moving between worlds though. You tend to lose track of time.
I've personally forgotten how long i've been traveling and my brother and I forgot our own birth-date somewhere along the line.

Remembering this place is another matter entirely...it depends on how they fix the problem I guess. The mind forgets but the body remembers...

Try not to think about it then. You might do some serious damage with your imagination.

Does that automatically mean I like spiders, coffins and the dark?

How long have you been around? You look like you can't be more than a few years older than me.

That'd be strange, forgetting... I mean, I've met so many wonderful people here. It would be hard to forget Zedd and Ginia, and Skyler and Jowy and Lockon... everybody really.

I'll try not to, I sometimes scare myself with what I come up with.

Maybe? [More soft laughter.] I happen to think spiders are pretty cool. Still don't like it when they're on me though.

That again I can't really answer. I guess I probably lost track of my age somewhere too.

I guess it would be strange, a part of you would always know you were forgetting something.
That's generally the reason why I prefer not to get to know anyone in a world.

You need to put that mind to a different use then.

Well I only like the big spiders, I hate coffins and the dark doesn't really bother me.
Still everyone probably sees things in different ways I guess.

It must be strange, forgetting things you should know. I'm still young so I have most everything straight, but I suppose after a certain point you might have so many different memories and bits of information that it would be difficult to hold them all in your head at once.

I've been trying to. Maybe I'll go hang out with Zedd for a bit. He may be odd and eat everything in sight, but he's one of the people who understands how my mind works.

Like tarantulas and such? Those are soft. I held one once. Coffins bother me a lot... just in general. I'm fine with the dark too, you just learn to look at things differently.

I can't say i've really tried to keep track though. I've had more important issues.
I'm pretty sure the memory loss happens in your old age though. I know i'm not that old yet.

Maybe you need to get a hobby or something.

Yeah those types of ones, they're not as...'creepy' as other spiders. Coffins immediately make me think of how people think we sleep in them, i'd never last a night in one of those. The dark is a good time, everyone's a lot calmer.
