...Not necessarily. Bounty hunting is a position organized and run by the government, so these reports aren't necessarily strange, but...

The organization I was helping people escape from were taking children and teenagers and modifying and training them into becoming assassins. They were turning kids who had lost everything - sometimes in situations orchestrated by the organization themselves - into weapons that could be used and no one would care if they were destroyed or what happened to them.

These same... kids were being used against bounty hunters. Not always, but some of the best bounty hunter hunters came from that organization.

If everything is being run by the same head company under government control, then it means they've been pitting us against each other for their own gain.

I'm not worried for me. I know how it ends for me. I chose it. I'm at peace with it. What I worry about is whether my brother made it out all right, and whether the Colonel and the others managed to bring down those we were fighting.

I want to know whether I made a difference.
