One's actions, one's reasons, and one's perspective. I suppose.

So there's no universal good and evil?

It's all just perception and perspective?

If any universal truth does exist, I don't believe we can know it as truth. You will never get everyone to agree with any one thing. Especially where ethics and morals are concerned.

I guess you're right about that. Everyone's different, and every person changes over time and through experience.

But how does one decide for themselves what's right and wrong?

That's right. It opened up people's hearts and minds not only to others, but to themselves. I don't think everyone was comfortable with what they found.

I think everyone has a few walls, Ms. Unohana.

But walls have a purpose.

As I said to someone else, it is sometimes a ood thing to destroy walls ... but you have to re-use the stones to build something else, or else it will have gone to waste.

Sometimes, perhaps. Other times, it only lets in the storm.

Or lets it out.

Black and white never stay untouched for too long, no matter if you want them to be.

I guess that's the price of lost innocence.

alle_halle April 13 2009, 23:09:36 UTC
That may depend on how much of it was left, or if there was anything. One may still stay innocent but not oblivious.
