I just signed myself up for an exhibition at a local gallery(!) since it seems a little bit of inspiration is coming back to me and I've actually been painting and drawing, with actual paint and pencils, for the first time in years. If I get up the gumption I might post them on lj sometime

Yeah, I thought the wait was ridiculous... but the more I think on it the more it seems ideal for me. At least I've made the commitment and I can't weasel myself out of it now.
