I just received an e-mail from the local housing corporation. Urgency (getting a house with urgency) doesn't apply to me, because I'm not in a "life threatening situation". There has to be a life-threatening situation that has already caused the person to press charges at the police, and there has to be actual threatening. Also, a house in my city

I'm sorry I can't help you immediately. I live in
de Achterhoek and that's about 2 hours by car
from you..
Will you please report this landlord to
http://www.studentzonderkamer.nl/ZwarteLijst.aspx
and report him at the huurteam Utrecht?
They can warn other students and he
will be put on a blacklist. If you can prevent
others from renting at his place you've done
a world of good.

And please make an official report at the
Police station if you didn't already, maybe it
won't help you anymore, but it will be put
in his file....

I think you're doing well under these
circumstances. You keep trying to communicate
and act as a responsible adult even if he isn't.

the best landlord there is!
