ArtEZ - Artistic Future - Squatting.

It's not that I don't want to - my fascination for the flyers that are being handed around showed me that once again - but I'm saying that I don't have the talent.  Going to ArtEZ or any other art academy/university is all good and well and a lovely idea to boot, but I can't work with my hands and no amount of desperate teachers can change that.   ( Read more... )

Well, i feel that way about writing. I had such a good fantasy when i was younger but the world disappointed me so, i just let it slip out of my hands. I regret it, not just because i'm not a very good writer now, but the ideas could have been great things to paint. I miss it.

Ik hoop dat de toekomst het heden en verleden voor je zal compenseren.

I know what you mean, even though I can't really explain what I'm thinking today. I've always wanted to go into music, and at the moment am still sure that's where I'll go, but there's such a doubt in the back of my mind that I'm not good enough and I'll waste my other chances in pursuit of something that isn't meant to be.

Have you seen who they've cast as Bella yet?

I hope for you that you'll reach what you've dreamt of bloodrebel333 February 2 2006, 13:53:52 UTC

Someone called Helen McCrory. I can't say I know the name, but she looks familiar in photographs. She just doesn't look like Bella should, in my opinion. I'm quite eager to hear your thoughts on the casting, as you're the one I associate with her the most.

And yes, they really should!

In other news, Evanna Lynch is playing Luna (and in my opinion, looks absolutely perfect for it - am excited about seeing her on screen), Imelda Staunton has the role of Umbridge (again, sounds good), and George Harris is to play Kingsley Shacklebolt.

Tonks has also been cast, to be played by Natalia Tena. I'm again not so sure about this, because from the variety of photos I've seen she just doesn't seem quite right. The only photo vaguely Tonks-like is from about 4 years ago, recently she looks much more... sensible? I'm sure when we see the new official head shots I'll be happier.

Don't get me wrong, I like Helen McCrory and from what I've heard she's an acclaimed actress, she just doesn't seem right. To me.
