Ok, I've now realised the fundamental wrongness of Kerrang.  Just flicking through the channels, and I saw Pure Morning by Placebo was on.  It was part of what they were calling "50 GREATEST EVER ROCK TRACKS".  Ok, I think, it's got a very good song, and at number 47,  not ridiculously high, maybe they've done a decent chart this time.  So I keep ( Read more... )

Aaah Kerrang is ruled by populatr mob culture remember and the majority of the popular mob has no taste my dear they only seem to love rock because its the 'in' thing right now. No bad thing in my opinion but it means the greats arent always recongnised as so x x x x

I admit, I do like a lot of what gets played on Kerrang (though, less lately, I just don't see the appeal in all this 'scene' bollocks), and I do like The Rasmus (I'm probably one of few people who actually bought their album rather than hearing that single once and declaring them shit/their favourite band), but that was seriously shocking. And it got worse! Sugar We're Going Down was in the top 30 or something. And higher that Nirvana, if I remember rightly! There's no hope for 'em.
