Perfect. He was just what Akabane was looking for: fresh meat. With his ever-present smile, the taller man strolled up to the newcomer, voice quizzical and polite as he spoke.
"You seem to be rather agitated. Is there a problem I could assist you with?"
"Oh?" That definitely peaked his interest. "I have encountered a few recovery services in my line of work, although I have never come across you before."
"Could say the same for you," was the short reply. "What's your name?" Though he'd run across transporters while on the job as well, Ban couldn't remember running into this guy - though something at the back of his mind said he might have heard of him.
"Heh. So you're Jackal." It made sense - Ban had heard the name and reputation before, but never seen the man for himself. He nodded, seemingly unimpressed. "You've got quite the rep."
"Oh?" Akabane lifted a hand to tilt the brim of his fedora up, eyes cracked open. "I must say I'm quite honored. I didn't expect for others to know me here."
"I wonder..." Akabane hummed to himself. "There have been so many opponents I have cut down that I have lost count. And what of yourself? As a retriever, surely you must have had your own series of encounters."
"You seem to be rather agitated. Is there a problem I could assist you with?"

"My name is Kuroudo Akabane, although my coworkers refer to me more by my nickname, Doctor Jackal."
