Flowers padded through the grass and dirt, on his way to the blue's base. Would anyone remember him? He hoped so- He could never forget the men under him

Church staggers out of the bunker, rubbing his forehead. If poeple would stop fucking yelling for ten minutes, he could catch a nap. He makes his way down the hallway toward the door to see who's making the racket.
"Jesus, Tucker, could you get any... son of a bitch! Cap? I thought you were dead!"
Looking up from the coffee despenser, Flowers smoothly takes a sip from his cup before he answers the screaming private. "Well sorta, but it's a bit confusing to explain. How have you and Tucker been? Have you been getting along?" He set his coffee down, walking over to Church. After looking him up and down, the captain patted Church's shoulder.
Church slumps onto a chair, staring in a daze. After a moment, he shakes himself out of it. "Yeah... things have been going pretty apeshit since you... died." He coughs and frowns, still coming to terms with this.
"Would you like to talk about it?" Flowers pulls up another chair a safe distance away from Church, and sits in it, after grabbing his coffee. He wasn't fond of the steaming beverage, but it was better than nothing.
Looking around, Simmons wandered in from the corridor, and stopped short. "Hey, Caboose? Tuck..." His voice trailed off as he took a moment to realise the situation. That wasn't Tucker's voice he'd just heard speaking. He stood and looked on, trying to work out who the new guy was. He could vaguely remember there being another teal soldier on the Blue side when he was new to the Gulch, but back then they hadn't done much more than shoot each other... and he was sure that he'd gone...
Looking up from Caboose's gingerbread treat, Flowers saw the new arrival. Intent on making another good first impression, he waved the other guy over so he could introduce himself properly.
Simmons paused for a moment, before following Flowers' gesture to the table. "Hi," he said, a little nervous and hoping his voice didn't show it. "So you're new here, huh?" he asked. As he did so, he realised just how dumb the question must have sounded.
Flowers chuckled, hoping to relax him. "Not really. I was here, then I died, and now I'm back." Maybe that sounded kind of weird. Oh well. He didn't even really get it either. "I'm Captain Butch Flowers. And your name is...?"
Flowers let him go, satisfied for now. "Well as long as you're being truthful to yourself and others, you're good in my book. And it's good to see somebody so reliable such as yourself. I'm glad you're part of our team." He couldn't really remember if he'd said that or not. Oh well, better safe than sorry. "Now, can I get you something to drink to calm your nerves?"
"Thank you. Always here for the team!" Simmons says, giving it everything he can. "And a coffee would be good - no, hang on, I'll make it, you don't have to, it's not your job..."
"No no no, it's fine. It's not your job either." He smiled to himself as he went about his business, fixing Simmons a cup of the dark liquid. There wasn't many options when considering how to fix the stuff. So Flowers just went with what his gut told him, and fixed it. "Here you go." Flowers said as he handed the cup to the private.
"Thank you, sir," Simmons said, slipping back to his old habit. He put the cup on the table for a moment, and put his helmet down next to it before taking a sip with every sign of enjoying it. While the situation still felt a bit strange, he was at least starting to relax a hint.
Flowers nodded, following Simmons quietly, memorizing everything once again, comparing it to what he remembered. "Thank you, it's a lot of help. If there's ever anything you need done with the higher commanding positions just let me know, alright? I'll do whatever I can." He smiled again.
"Thank you, sir. I don't think they even know I'm here yet, so I... appreciate it," he said, nodding. "At the moment, I can't even get onto the communications channels or into the computer network." He paused. "Officially," he muttered. "But... thank you, anyway."
"No problem," he replied. "Just happy to help in any way possible." Flowers yawned, scratching his neck where the armour rubbed against it. He could use a shower soon, as well as a nap. He probably stunk, having been dead for awhile and not being out of his suit. "Where are the showers...?"
"Straight that way, sir - " Simmons said, gesturing. "Watch out for the ones at the end, they never quite work right. I've been meaning to fix them. And it's just a pleasure to help!"
