Paperwork Sucks

Donut shut the door behind him as he entered the CO's office at Red Base. When Sarge was present, this was his area to work in since he was the Commanding Officer. Now that Donut was looking after things in his absense - it felt a little wierd to sit at the desk infront of the computer. Okay it felt more than wierd. He could still smell the faint

There was a hesitant knock on the door as Basil stood shifting uncomfortably outside the office. He had never been in there before, not even when Sarge was in charge. He wasn't even sure he could trust Donut with this, but if he couldn't trust his teammates, who could he trust?

Donut was hunched over the desk, nose in paperwork when he heard the soft knock at the door. He got up to go open it, coffee in hand. He saw an uncomfortable Basil standing in the hall. Seeing the hesitancy, Donut offered a friendly smile and backed up to let him in.

"Hey Basil...come on in. There's coffee, water or juice if you want any..." Donut offered - wanting to make his team mate more comfortable.

"Thanks," the little red mumbled and shuffled into the room, his hands stuffed into his pockets. He still wasn't sure he wanted to be here, or how to approach the subject, but it was too late now. "So..."

Donut pulled his chair around so that he wouldn't be sitting behind the desk when talking with the little red. The last thing he wanted was to make his team mate more uncomfortable than he obviously was. It must be something really personal...Donut mulled to himself.

Pouring the red some freshly made coffee into a mug, he held it out towards Basil - making sure that there was some milk and sugar within reach.

"So whats up? You feeling okay?" Donut asked with genuine concern, sitting in his chair with his own cup of coffee. "I see you're uneasy..and you don't have to say anything if you don't want too...but I'm here if you need to talk.."
