Placed upon the top of the blue base was Cap, cross-legged with an old guitar being tuned in his lap. He'd brought it to the base when he first got sent out, and was pleasantly surprised to find it in one of the storage rooms. For such an old instrument, it still played well. But it was the conductor that made the instrument sound nice, or so he

After a nice afternoon snack, Grif found himself outdoors once again. He could never figure out what drew him to the outside, but he figured it was just his body demanding fresh air. Whatever it was, he once again found himself taking a walk aimlessly around the gulch. Dex could never figure out what drew him outside, but he could figure out what drew him towards blue base. Not the best idea, as he was a red...but it sounded nice. Something he hadn't heard in a long time. Music.
As he approached the enemy base, he noticed an aquamarine soldier perched on the roof...guitar in lap. He groaned, realizing if he stuck around he could get caught...but he couldn't quite get himself to leave the music. Not yet, at least. Cappy tried to pick up a tune, ranging from old Flowers Family lullabies, to little ditties he'd made up ages ago. Nothing seemed to sound right, no matter what he tried. Familiar songs from his teenaged years made an appearance, as well as attempted new-age things.
Feh.

Grif slid down the rock, sitting comfortably in his hiding place as he listened. He pulled out a cig, contemplating as he lit up.
"You don't happen to know..." Before he could stop, he found himself requesting a song of the enemy from his hiding place. He really didn't care...as this guy didn't seem to hostile.
((...I can't think...of a song. *Starts singing 'If I had a million dollars*...But alas, too cliche...or is it?! =O))

Butch looked up from his guitar, sure he'd heard somebody. Oh well. The Blue strummed the strings, trying to find a tune. Obviously, he didn't have much luck.

"So...uhh...Butch. What's it like being a blue?" Grif immediatly smacked himself mentally, hearing one of the stupidest questions mankind ever created slip past his lips.

"It's probably the same as being a red. We're both in the army, we've got teammates, and good commanders..." Butch chuckled. "See?"
Just different sides, that's all...
