rokhal's killer prompt over at
ohsam After the trials, Sam doesn't get better. Kevin's theory is that it's cancer: the trials are supposed to purge him of all physical and spiritual impurities, so tuberculosis is out, and cancer is the only reason left for Sam to be coughing his lungs up when he's

The drawing of Kevin is amazing. The haggard exhaustion on his face is perfect.
Nicely done, ladies!

Yes. It's one thing to view it through Dean knowing how his love for Sam supersedes everything else, but through the eyes of an outsider, it has to be absolutely terrifying.
Yes, quickreaver nailed Kevin's mood here. Totally perfect.

But seeing it through Kevin's eyes, it becomes a whole different ball-game. Within the Winchesters' tight insular bubble, it's just some more weird crap they'll sail through, but poor Kevin. Being forced to grow up and having all his choices taken from him and then THIS HAPPENS. 'Of course he'd freak out.
(He's never going to really be 'friends' friends with them, is he? *and I still like the Winchesters more, XP* )
I love that Kevin is on the edge here, as he should be, being the worst treated prophet in the history of prophets, and the art is perfect as always!! I love Kevin's expression, the way he's fingering the butcher knife. Gorgeous, as always.

Exactly! That's what I thought as I was writing it- I actually originally tried to write it from Kevin's POV, but then I had to stop and write it from Dean's because I wanted to see how he'd react to Sam first. Then it was much easier to write Kevin's.
quickreaver did beautiful work, as usual- I really love this technique.
