You fashioned the scene around the bones, their expressions, hell even the injuries! The description of Adam was absolutely eerie. Your big brain has done it again, you incredible person, you. And so fast! HOW DO YOU DO IT??
Thank you, Moni. You're a marvel. *giddy skipping ensues*
Ooooh, such a great tie in with the art. What a bleak end but bleak seems to be the Winchester way. I saw the photos you based Adam on....geez, they're creepy in a fascinating kind of way. Awesome writing.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the read (bleak as it may be). The piece quickreaver made had such a great and detailed story to tell, I just had to write it out.
Yes, that photographer has some amazing work - he seems to like playing with perception, particularly when it comes to the human form, geometry and reflective surfaces
So glad you liked the read! It's purely speculation on my part regarding the third trial and Sam's role - I'm sure I'll be way off, but it felt fitting, especially with this art.
This is such an incredibly perfect idea, and I'm simply in love with your story. That would be a painful but also fitting way to end the quest. Poor boys. *sobs*
Thanks so much! The art really spoke to me right off the bat - I wanted to know what had happened and how, and it just felt like the bones had to have some personal connection to Sam and Dean - but Sam especially looked so traumatized (and Dean looked so painfully sad) in the image, that the end of the trials immediately came to mind.

The image of Adam was most definitely inspired by the top photo in this awesome set by Arno Rafael Minkkinen I saw the other day. Such an intriguing shot, it stuck with me.
Glad to make you giddy-skip : D
