I'd be down with giving some fashion advice... I do it not anyways for some friends lol. The only problem being back when I did personal shopping I was able to SEE the items my customers were trying on which makes it easier to figure out what will look good on you.
Things every man should own however are: - Dark Jeans, minimal on the wash... a nice fight in the thigh either straight leg or boot cut (Not skinny unless you're a trend whore) - A nicely fitting white shirt. If it's custom even better. For a certain flair to the - outfit make it french cuffed with a smart cufflink. - A casual loafer, my preference is the Ferragamo loafer in black leather with a simple buckle. A grey sweater, V-Neck or Shawl Neck.
Layer and voila. If it's chilly wear a textured woven black blazer. Nothing too formal. This is the outfit I always A) Feel best in and B) Fall back on. To jazz it up, put on a solid colored tie... like deep purple or red.
I am completely clueless to be honest. I generally keep to Express for dressy and dressy-casual clothes (and jeans), and ocassionally Guess for some casual stuff. I like Steve Madden shoes, and can dress casually for work.
I do like a little bit of edge, but as you can tell by my journal I'm kinda silly so I can't pull off many fashion-forward ideas. I am considering a sunglass monocle though as a signature accessory lol.
Knowing where to shop would be great because I'm not much of a "OOH GURL let's spend the day at the mall" kind of guy.
