So I had an odd weekend. Good. But odd.

I went out with the Boy and his work mates on Friday night to a local pub, nothing flash or fancy just a gathering of a group of friends. It was great fun getting to meet everyone (only the second time I've ever met his work friends) and seeing my Uni friend Emma who works with Matt. I bake for his work

Lois Lane duh! a dark wig is bound to be cheaper than the contacts then all you need is smart clothes, pen and notebook and you can hang out with 'clark' all night - sorted!

Umm no wise words really except that meeting up with an old friend can be weird but I've often found you move back into comfortable reminiscing quickly. Just be sure not to fall into the old routine of her dramas making you feel like you're just there to listen, take control, change the subject if it's getting a bit much. Or even turn the tables on her, when she starts going on about some guy just go 'ooh yeah that's like this time me and Matt....' she'll soon get the hint!
