I did the unthinkable. I caved and bought an iPod. Although it was a considerable investment (especially when taking into account my current financial situation, read: very bad), I'm glad I did it. I was tired of burning mix CDs that could only hold 18 or so songs and then playing them to exhaustion in my car stereo ( Read more... )

don't worry I'll hold the line for you and not buy an IPOD... them Zoom's look tempting... however I think I want a dive computer or spear gun instead... either way I'll hold the line and not cave to the ipod generation...

Haha well thanks. I'm glad someone will hold onto that for me.

And yes, I realllllly want to do the Costa Rica thing. It's just going to take a little convincing with the parents.

Costa Rica is a wonderful/beautiful place... being able to go there for a few weeks would be awesome. Nothing like immersing yourself in a foreign country!

I would strongly recommend it!

a co-worker of mine is in France as we speak for a 2 months long french immersion program. I would love to do the same, but can't afford to do so.
