Apr 02, 2011 00:27

Dinah opened her eyes, and frowned up at the billowy fluffy ceiling. Why had she fallen asleep in the main suite room last night? Probably because she'd been so tired she hadn't been able to make it to the bedroom. And it wasn't like the floor wasn't soft enough to collapse on. Story of his life. At least she hadn't tried to pull that "hey, you're that guy!" joke.

He made his way -- somewhat gingerly, there were pillows everywhere -- over to the counter where the coffee maker lived. Morning coffee without the wife. That shouldn't be such a pleasant idea.

Dinah's shoulders hunched a little, because that was a little too accurate. "Oh, you know." Lame. "There might have been some Metro-surfing and a fight." On the Metro. "I collapsed as soon as I walked in here. Literally, I think." She kicked a pillow away, then grinned, and tilted her head, comparing him to his image on the TV screen, then peeked over his shoulder. "Soooo, do I finally get to meet the famous Mrs. Priestly?"

Who was not good enough for him, judging by the cameos on his show.
