Last year the fabulous and talented aadler enquired whether I took requests for artwork and if so, would I consider making something for him.  His request was so very polite and even though I generally don't take requests for artwork,  his talent as a writer and his impeccable manners impressed me into promising to make banners for a couple of his

This is SO COOL. The only ideas I’d had (and sroni also, while she was working to come up with appropriate banners for various stories) included incorporating a unicorn motif, but neither one of us could figure out how to pull it off. That you did so almost effortlessly is … well, maybe a little intimidating.

I’m moving to post this to all versions of the story right away. Many and fervent thanks.

Yes, the unicorn was a must in the banner! The trick is to have Photoshop CS5...and years of practice! :D
