Ohhhh my god I did not expect this to be so emotional and sweet! Seriously, awesome work. It was funny too - I love that her dad was proud of her for throwing out salads! And I giggled at the "unguarded vagina" reference - Leslie must have been SO disappointed in the Casual Vacancy!

But seriously, I love the direction you took this, and the way you actually incorporated some supernatural ghostly happenings as well - yet in a heartwarming way, not a scary way. I also adored the "love is a choice" motif that you referred to a few times. So WELL DONE this was great!

Very, very sweet. I was genuinely surprised by the turn this story took. I don't think I've ever read an interpretation of Leslie's father this way, and it was really lovely.

I feel like with Leslie's mother- he would have to even her out. So I imagined him as just this really chill guy that worked at a school because he loved kids. And let Leslie's mom go be happy, even if it didn't include him. I also felt really bad for him that Marlenes great love story was with some dude before him. I wish they would talk about him more.
