Ok, so we didn't get any calls saying the houses were sold.  So I guess this means we are heading out to view them today and have a better look around the area

heh heh - you're definitely right about that - the first house we saw showed us that various less desirable features can be covered up by the miracle of low resolution photos. The second house was interesting though, needed more work than we expected but if we could get it for the right price, well we could turn it into something lovely!
