The arrival of the liquor cabinet had been exquisitely planned if entirely unexpected and therefore strange. However, he wasn't too horribly perturbed by its baffling arrival in the back of his cave since he had received his gift the previous January in a similar fashion

Ulixes moves like silk through the shadows of the cave ahead of me, announcing our presence by letting his tail slide against some loose shale. I smile, enjoying the sudden cool as opposed to the daylight's heat, and lift an eyebrow at the addition to James's furniture. Ulixes passes behind James once to brush his flank against his leg and the goes to the bed to lounge and clean his paws. I move directly for the cabinet.

"Lovely craftsmanship."

"Island-made," James quipped before sipping his martini and leaning against the cave wall behind him. He glanced over at Ulixes briefly, smiling slightly as he directed his gaze back to Lara. "If you want anything, feel free to help yourself."

"You know I'm not partial to liquor," I murmur, looking over the supply.

"Lillet?" I say with some surprise, taking the bottle down. "I haven't seen this in ages. My father used to give me sips of aperitif at parties."

"Perhaps that's why I was so quick to be generous," Bond teased before having more of his drink and glancing over at the bottle. "There is something to be said about certain aspects of this island."
