Cheeburger cheeburger

Today after class I went to Cheeburger Cheeburger. I thought about taking the family there for lunch after the graduation ceremony, so I wanted to check it out. I was mildly disappointed. I realize that given the name, they would specialize in burgers. But I was hoping for a bigger variety of other foods. Other than a couple of mushroom sandwiches ( Read more... )

I went to one in Raleigh, NC. I got a salad and it was HUGE.

Too bad Brown's closed down. My other favorite place, Szechuan Gardens, also closed down years ago. And the Frankly Cider Mill isn't open this time of year. :-(

How about Meriweather's or that pizza place (Not Mama Mia's.) Are they open for lunch?

We won't let you pay, if that's what you were thinking, so don't worry about cost.

I'll think about it too, and see if I can think of anyplace else I really want to go.

Ooooh, If fish is ok, how about Bet -N- Jessie's? Their fish is good. It's in Redford on Grand River. I can't think of the name of "that pizza place", so I don't know where it is. But, yeah a pizza place would be good too. Like Shields or Buddy's?

Or there's a buffet type place in Westland we could go to...

Buddy's! That was it.

Come to think of it, Doug's not big on fish.

Chinese buffets are good or nice hotel restaurants, but I'm not real keen on Old Country Buffet-type places, where the food is bland, cheap, and tasteless.

Ok, Buddy's it is. According to their website, http://buddyspizza.com/ they open at noon. We can go to the one in either Farm hills, or Livonia.
